                        St. Joseph's Holy Week Retreat

    Thirteen little disciples attended a mini Holy Week retreat at
St. Joseph's Church in Mars Hill.  The event included life size walk-in displays of Holy Thursday, Good Friday and the First Easter. They visited the Upper Room and had their feet washed, they listened to how Jesus died for our sins and witnessed the empty tomb on Easter morning. A film was shown telling the story of Jesus' last hours before his crucifixion followed by praying the Stations of the Cross. The retreat ended after each child made a clothespin crucifix to take home.
