Cluster Renewal Day

          Priests, deacons, Cluster planning teams, Parochial
   Vicars, School Principals, retired priests, and various
   Diocesan staff gathered for a day of prayer and renewal at
   St. John's Parish and School in Winslow.
         Bishop Malone gave an enthusiastic and inspiring
   address to the Cluster Planning Teams. His encouragement
   and support during this planning process has always been
   and continues to be evident.
      The guest speaker for the day was Br. Loughlan Sofield an
   international authority in the area of collaborative ministry.
   Br. Sofield gave a presentation entitled, "Collaboration:
   Uniting Our Gifts in Ministry." He also provided his input on
   the New Evangelization plan, "Telling Anew the Story of
   Jesus," calling it one of the best collaborative plans he has ever
   had the pleasure of reviewing.
        There will be a second day of prayer and renewal held in
   the Spring of 2006.
