Knights & Daughters Host
         Priest Appreciation Dinner  
    The Knights of Columbus and Daughters of Isabella
       of Fort Fairfield hosted a "Priest Appreciation Dinner"
       at the K. of C. Hall October 9th.  One hundred
       seventy-five parishioners from the area cluster
       gathered to honor the five priests who serve the
       parishes of Holy Rosary, St. Catherine's, St. Denis
       and St. Louis.  Those being honored were: 
       Fr. Jean-Paul Labrie, Fr. David Raymond, Fr. Ray
       Morency, Fr. Clement Thibodeau (retired), and 
       Fr. Chanel Cyr (retired). A delicous meal of roast beef, 
       roast pork, salad, vegetables and dessert was  
       served.           
 
       The "Mystery Guest," Sue Bernard from the Diocese 
       of    Portland, gave a very humorous and 'nearly
       accurate' account of events in the lives of each priest
        being honored.  It was great to see Sue again. 
        While growing up Sue and her family were faithful
        parishioners of St. Denis in Fort Fairfield.      

        Mark Bourgoin, Grand Knight and Emcee for the
        evening conveyed all our sentiments in expressing
        his gratitude and support for the ministry provided
        by these five dedicated priests.  Our prayers and
        continued support  go with them always.

        Many thanks to the "Chefs," Tony Levesque, Kirby
        Doughty, George Pelletier and Chip Beckwith and
        the decorators; Betty McKenney and crew.
