Ministry Day                 
                 September 10, 2005

         The Region I Office of Catechetics and Initiation
      held its annual 'Ministry Day' Saturday, September
      10th at Holy Rosary Church in Caribou.  Clergy and
      Laity took advantage of a variety of interesting
      workshops offered for reflection and renewal.  
      Bishop Richard Malone gave the opening talk.  

         Lunch was provided by the Daughters of Isabella. 
      Vendors were on hand with a variety of Faith
      Formation materials for all levels of Catechesis.
     
         One of the workshops was given by Ernie Lebel 
      of the Diocesan Office of Parish Planning. 
      He gave an informative presentation on the four
      models of parish administration included in the
      diocesan plan for evangelization;
      "Telling Anew the Story of Jesus".
